American coffee is better
As an American, I’m always a bit surprised when I hear people say that Australian coffee is better than ours. It’s not that I don’t think Australian coffee can be good – it’s just that, in my experience, American coffee tends to be a bit better.
There are a few reasons for this, in my opinion. First of all, we have a lot more variety when it comes to coffee. There are so many different types and brands of coffee available in the United States that it can be hard to keep track of them all. In Australia, there seems to be less variety – at least, from what I’ve seen.
Second of all, Americans tend to be more passionate about their coffee than Australians seem to be. We take our coffee seriously – it’s not just something we drink to wake up in the morning (although it definitely serves that purpose too). We care about the quality of our coffee and we’re always trying new things to make it better.
And lastly, I think the way American coffee is brewed tends to produce a superior product. Yes, there are plenty of ways to make bad American coffee – but when done right, the result is simply delicious. In my opinion anyway!
