Weaving is a textile craft that involves interlacing two sets of threads at right angles to each other in order to create cloth. The lengthwise threads are called the warp threads, while the crosswise threads are called the weft threads. Weaving can be done by hand or by machine, and there are many different weave patterns that can be used to create different effects on the finished cloth. Some common weave patterns include plain weave, twill weave, satin weave, and Jacquard weave.
