Once you’ve found some printable coloring cards that you like, it’s time to start using them! To color your card, simply open the file in your preferred program and follow the instructions. Usually, all you need to do is click on the colors you want to use and then drag them on to the card. If you’re not sure what colors to use, try starting with a basic black-and-white design and then adding color as you go along.
When you’re finished coloring your card, it’s time to add some embellishments. You can find all sorts of stickers, stamps, and other decorations at most craft stores. Or, if you’re feeling really creative, try making your own! Just remember to write down what each decoration means before adding it to the card – otherwise it might be hard for someone else to understand what it is supposed to represent later on down the road.

Make Your Own DIY Finger Paints
Making your own finger paints is a fun and easy way to get creative with your kids! All you need are a few simple ingredients that you probably already have around the house.
To make your own finger paints, start by mixing together 1/2 cup of flour with 1/2 cup of water in a bowl. Then, add 1/4 cup of sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Next, add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and stir until the mixture is smooth.
Now it’s time to add some color to your finger paints! To do this, simply mix together a few drops of food coloring with 1 tablespoon of white vinegar. Add as much or as little food coloring as you like to achieve the desired shade. Once you’re happy with the color, pour the mixture into small containers and let your kids get creative!
Simple Ombre Artwork
If you’re using paint, start by applying your lightest color to the top half of your paper or canvas. Then, working in small sections, add a slightly darker shade of paint to the bottom half of each section. Use a clean brush or sponge to blend the two colors together in the middle. Continue working down the paper or canvas, adding progressively darker shades of paint until you reach your desired effect.
If you’re using pencils, start by lightly sketching out your design with your lightest color. Then, begin filling in your drawing with progressively darker shades of pencil until you reach your desired effect. Again, use a blending stump or cotton swab to help blend the colors together smoothly.
Once you’re happy with your ombre artwork, allow it to dry completely before framing or displaying it proudly!

Transform a Dollar Store Candle
If you’ve ever been in a dollar store, you know that they sell candles. Lots and lots of candles. In fact, they seem to be one of the most popular items in the store. But have you ever noticed that most of these candles are pretty ugly? They’re often made from cheap wax and have wicks that are all crooked.
But did you know that with just a little bit of effort, you can transform these dollar store candles into something beautiful? It’s actually quite easy to do, and it doesn’t take much time or money. Here’s what you need to do:
First, select a candle or two that you like the look of. Then, using a sharp knife, carefully remove the wick from the candle. Next, using sandpaper or a file, gently s and down any rough edges on the candle.
Now it’s time to get creative! You can paint the candle with acrylic paints, use stickers or decals to decorate it, or even wrap it in pretty ribbon or twine. Be creative and have fun with this step!
Once your candle is decorated to your liking, it’s time to re-insert the wick. Use a small amount of hot glue to secure it in place if necessary. Finally, trim the wick so that it’s about ½ inch long and light your new creation!
